Goals:This class will introduce the basic topics in telecommunications and computer networks to students in the BS-IT program.


Textbook: A. Dodd, The Essential Guide to Telecommunications, 3rd Edition, Prentice Hall, 2002, Upper Saddle River, NJ.

Grading:

Homework 10% - There will be weekly homework.

Project 10%

Two mid-term exams- each 20%

Final - 40%
