Prerequisite: CS 689.

Description:Current research topics in intelligent tutoring systems and learning environments, including case studies in selected domains, such as medicine and foreign language. Relevant recent advances in closely related subfields of artificial intelligence, as appropriate. Topics may include semantically constrained exploration, student modeling, example generation, formalization of pedagogical decision-making, and with evaluation strategies. Course may be repeated for credit with change in topic.
