Description:Introduction to optimum receiver design in the additive white Gaussian noise environment. Topics include efficient signal set design, modulation techniques, matched filter, correlation detector, coherent and noncoherent detections, fading and diversity channels, random amplitude and phase, diversity techniques, performance bounds of communications, and waveform communications.
